Gojira (Godzilla) Skeleton Past and Present

Scale comparison of the original and new Gojira. Both are modeled on theropod dinosaurs with a helathy does of sauropod in the 2014 version. As usual, I used the exterior morphology to guide the osteology. Since points like shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and wrists are pretty well defined on the moving Gojira, the serve as anchors to construct the skeletal system. Vertebrae, ribs, chevrons, gastralia, and pelvic morphology are entirely open to interpretation, so if you think they should look different, go right ahead and draw your own. That's the fun of this sort of doodling. I didn't include Zilla beacause it's not Gojira as made clear by Toho. Thanks for looking.
